Ready for some BAMA sun

We have a little over 2 weeks till Ryan's block leave.. I'm so ready. We miss everyone like crazy!
In exactly a week my lil boy will be 3! I cannot believe it. He is such a lil man!

I am glad they have lots of things to do on post here for the 4th.  Free concerts and fireworks, carnival rides, and things to do:) Im sure we wont even get to do it all ...the kids will be wore out.. which means  a good nights sleep LOL. We have all enjoyed having Austin here with us (especially Dustin) ... Im not sure how he will act when he isnt here:(
My baby girl.. 8 months old now.. is pulling up on stuff and trying to take steps.. babbling and saying DADA all the time (see Ryan I can admit it)

 

Last night she woke up right as we were heading to bed, and Ryan rocked her back to sleep. He didnt know it then but I could hear him singing Jesus loves me to her over the baby monitor:)

Nursing mom

I am proud to say Ive made it nursing Emmy for 7 months now and hope to make it to a year, but Im going back to work when she will be around 9 months..so with no pump we will have to bottle feed some.. while she is at daycare at least..Its gotten to the point where nursing in public is NO longer an option since Emmy thinks its funny to pull off, let my milk spray everywhere, and stare and what is going on around us for a few minutes before latching back on. Last night Emmy slept from 9pm to 3am (in her own bed let me add) nursed back to sleep and at 5am I put her in her bed so I could get up and she slept till 9am there.. So Mommy feels very rested today and Emmy seems the same.:)  Here are a few pictures from a lil fun photo shoot me and Em did the other day:)

My big boy Dustin, man is he a growing! We went out to eat Hibachi Buffet last night and Dustin ate shrimp and noodles all by himself!

5 am & We have been up two hours

5 AM and I just rocked my baby girl back to sleep.  She woke up at 3 this morning... now normally I would be a wreck getting up that early but she slept straight from 10pm to 3 this morning without getting up. Even though I did wake up a few times and check on her.. I feel like I slept all night. Instead of nursing back to sleep this morning she reached beside me and woke up Dustin lol. We stayed in bed watching cartoons for a little while and she started blowing raspberries :) So we came downstairs to make sure Ryan gets some sleep. He will be up shortly to start getting ready for work. Dustin's up for the day, watching Wow Wow Wubbzy now but I'm sure he will take a nap sometime today! I'm on my 2nd pot of coffee already! As I sit here rocking Emmy, I looked at the clock and almost gasped out loud. Yesterday it seems she was turning 6 months and I couldn't believe that was already here.. and now its 5 more days till she is 7 months. It's just flying by! I only have a few more months till I go back to work (me and Ryan agreed that around August would be a good time) and while I don't mind going back to work.. I'm sure going to miss my babies!  I don't even wanna think about being away from them all day:(
Emmy is SOOO close to crawling! She can get where she wants to go by scooting and army crawling and rolling and she has Almost got the crawling.. she will move one leg then the other.. then scoot lol.

A new day

Today is a  new day.  Emmy didn't sleep well last night.. she would wake and cry but wouldn't roll over and nurse like she usually does. I had to pick her up and hold her, calm her down, then nurse her back to sleep. I wasn't sure what it was until she had an explosive diaper this morning LOL! She has been asleep since 9 now and it's 11.
Ryan went out and bought a weedeater this morning.. it was just too much hassel to have to borrow one everytime we needed to cut.. Its taking a while to do that grass.. I THOUGHT our yard was tiny lol... but cutting that much with a weedeater looks horrible lol. At least our yard will look nice again. Im glad Ryan's here to do it though. I dread him deploying.. I know I complain that he doesn't help as much as I want him too... but he DOES help a lot.. I should really start trying to thank him for it. I complain too much.. I know come end of next year I'll miss him.
It been raining almost all week and its pretty dreary looking out there now.. I think it just started drizzling..

Is it May already?

Its seems like everytime I turn around another month has flown by, my kids are growing up so fast. Emmy is almost crawling and Dustin is becoming momma lil man.



We have made some really good friends here and now that Ryan's platoon is getting in order, we have started making a few more.. Adult conversation always needed lol. We went bowling last night and Dustin had a BLAST.

We are finally getting settled in our house on post. Starting to look like a home.. just gotta get some pictures on the wall and a few accessories lol.

I'm working hard to be a good little housewife.. but most days I just wanna spend the whole day playing with the kids. I did scrub the kitchen floor today..so that a big accomplishment lol. 

Tomorrow is Mother's Day and I wish I could be back home with my mom! The plan is church.. and either small lunch and out to dinner or out to lunch and small dinner lol..and lots of family time!
Its finally getting back warm out! We have a nice swing and little patio set.. plenty of seating for grill outs and guests... I love having ppl over! Luckily Ryan loves grilling.

 I cannot wait til July to hopefully get to go home to visit and celebrate the boys birthdays back home!
Em will be getting around good by then of goodness....

Change Change Change

    We sign for our on post housing tomorrow, and the Army will be moving us Thursday! I'm super excited because the more we live in this tiny apartment, the more I don't like it here. I dread unpacking and getting settled again..but we will have a fenced in little back yard and Ryan wont have so far to go to work and hopefully that will mean more time at home:) We are literally right across the street from the PX which is awesome in some ways, not so great in others lol. Ill have to stay away.

   Went onpost today to the housing Easter Egg hunt with our new good friend Emily:) and her son.. they claim it was too windy to hunt so they gave us a FEW eggs and we left lol.  I guess being out and about wore my kids out though cause at 8 they were both fast asleep.

Phone posting

Tonight I'm laying in bed with Dustin..he is watching cartoons. Em just went to sleep...
I was laying here in bed thinking I'm glad Ryan doesn't have to work tomorrow and it hit me...bam! I have Gotta get these kids in some sorta routine before I go back to work... seriously. Staying up late is fine for me now but when I start working I will need my sleep at certain hours lol...
Em drank a good bit from a bottle today(yea for her that means two ounces lol) Ryan's excited about helping feed her I think...Tommee Tippee bottles are great
tomorrow its supposed to be warm...oh i hope so
